“Paul Bradley brings over three decades of professional aviation and instruction experience to his work. Holding Commercial Pilot and CFII certifications in rotorcraft, he has a distinguished career spanning various sectors. Prior to his tenure as Chief Pilot for the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office, Paul gained extensive experience in utility operations, serving organizations involved in power line maintenance, firefighting, and charter flights.
For 22 years, Paul served as a pilot for the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office, a leading agency in the development and execution of long-line rescue techniques. Utilizing his expertise in vertical reference flying, he and his crews successfully conducted hundreds of rescues in diverse environments, both day and night. Their services were frequently requested across multiple California counties, significantly reducing patient transport times and alleviating the challenges faced by ground crews.
Having retired from full-time service with the Sheriff’s Office, Paul continues to contribute as an extra-help pilot when needed. He currently applies his skills as a long-line utility pilot with Capitol Helicopters Inc., specializing in power line construction.”
